Green Lantern: First Flight
AnimationInsider.net has the news: 'GL: First Flight' Animation Next
Soon after its release of 'Wonder Woman' as a direct-to-video animation release, Warner Bros. Animation and DC have scheduled to release 'Green Lantern: First Flight' this coming summer. Tracking Hal Jordan's first mission as a member of the prestigious intergalactic Corps., 'First Flight' will find Jordan battling both villain and Lantern alike, to preserve the Corps.' philosophy.

When I first got the press info, I thought the title was "Green Lantern: First Light" and I said to myself, Hey, that's pretty cool... a rather philosophical title..., but then I checked again...

EDIT: Woo! Again! Just read the article, and it comes out the day after my birthday...More of a chance I can talk my mom into buying it!

While I'm not much of a GL fan (Nor Hal... I think I like the other version more... John Stewart, I think that's his name), I am interested in seeing this movie.

I'm not a huge fan of any of the GLs.

The little preview/hype thing didn't really interest me.

Until I saw Michael Madsen.

Dang, Aaron. Now you got me wishing "First Light" was the title.

It's good to know I'm not crazy. From what Timm has already said about the film, an overwhelming majority of the movie takes place in outer space, apart from Earth.

Trailer is up on Yahoo! This looks very, very entertaining. I was surprised about Sinestro's look toward the end of the trailer.

Not a bad trailer, not too bad at all... though I still think "First Light" would be a cooler title.

Nothing definite. I did notice the prices for the 2 disc and Blu-Ray editions dropped $5 each.

EDIT: It could have to do with timing the release with the 50th anniversary of Hal Jordan's debut in the comics.

Does anyone know where I can see screenshots from the trailer because the DVD and Blu-Ray will be out by the time I get the actual trailer to load.
