Iron Man: Armored Adventures
This Monday during the Wolverine and the X-Men marathon on Nicktoons Network, they'll air a special promo for the upcoming Iron Man: Amored Adventures series, which is scheduled to debut in April on Nicktoons. The marathon will air 3 times, 10am - 12:30pm ET, 3pm - 5:30pm ET, and 10pm - 12:30am ET.

saw the trailer for this. the animation looked mostly CG. but it might be interesting as long as its not too kiddie.

I was quite curious about this new Iron Man series at first, but like Wolverine and the X-Men, I have no way of watching it.
Oh well, at least I still have The Spectacular Spider-Man.

Just received a screener for the two-part premiere in the mail today... I haven't watched it yet, but visually, looks incredibly simplistic. I've yet to be wowed by MARVEL Animation, so my expectations are low, but I'm willing to give it a shot.

I don't care for it. I'm particularly not fond of the fact that they made Iron Man a teenager in this one. I don't think there was anything too dangerous about giving a family-rated cartoon with a primary audience of children an adult protagonist; in fact, it would have shaken things up in the current scene. That CGI aesthetic is also pretty slipshod. Just look at how clean and well-put-together X-Men: Evolution, Wolverine and the X-Men, and The Spectacular Spider-Man look, and compare it to this. Clearly it's a cheapie, intended to cash in on the success of the movie but not having any higher artistic aspirations of its own.

at the rate were going, Iron Man II figures will be out before we see any of these Concept Figures

Iron Man Armored Adventures
Although Im not a fan of the WATXM figures at all, I think in comparison to these they looked like they tried. These initial Armored Adventures four offerings were pathetic, really sad excuses for action figures in this day and age.
