OMGOODNESS that was an amazing episode. If anybody knows me, they know that I like fights. I favor fights over anything else, and this episode is chucked with it. The cheorography was nothing short of spectacular and then the animation sealed the deal.
That 1-on-1 part I missed even though they showed an instant replay twice (thrice?). What did Korra do? I'm onboard with Amon. He's an amazing villain, and he's a bad### to boot, not to mention the guy reminds me of Dr. Doom. Current Games Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3: Wesker, Spencer/Dante/Vergil, Hawkeye |

But his Roots may rely on what the Freedom Fighters have done in the past, the Hidden Weaponery has something also linked to the Freedom Fighters, and so far with the Anti-benders have bcome the Future of the Freedom Fighters. |

Oh, no, I'm not saying I support his ideals or anything, but if he did have anything to do with the Freedom Fighters (? Team Avatar?), then that might make me even happier (excuse the demented side
). I'm merely saying that I'm onboard with him as a villain

RE: Book 1, Episode 6: ...and the winner is...
I mean this is just an ideal plot that I came up with, given the matters that what moves these toadies that Amon have look very fimilar to the moves Jet and Smellerbee had when they were around, I just figure that it seems this is starting to piece togeather, and why Sokka, Aang, and Toph might have been killed, because another partnered group of people(The Freedom Fighters being the bigger part of the Anti-Benders) knew about them and had happily took the bait and confronted them, and thus that is where the stroy gets more interesting, unfortunately we have a lack of people here and I am banned at 3 boards where this discussion would be more interesting to them.

Looks like she faked a water-shot to his head's left side, which he dodged by leaning to his right, only to get pummeled by an uppercut of water from below. They not only showed it in slow-mo the second time, they even reversed it and included the classic tape-recorder-in-reverse sound effects! WHOOO-HOOO!! I agree that the choreography in this episode was fantastic! Loved it! I honestly believe that there has never been any other american animated series before Avatar that has had such incredible choreography or such fluid action scenes. ...And that's sayin' alot from a guy who is from an era when He-Man was considered the pinnacle of animated fight scenes. I kinda figured the whole Lin-Tenzin-Pema thing. Funny how it kinda reflects Korra's current situation in a way. Anyone else find it kinda suspicious that Amon suddenly has this impressive new technology? (looks at Sato family suspiciously) And just how did one airship take on an entire fleet? And just where would they hide an airship to begin with? Also, I felt another slight cop-out that the equalists who pulled the Fire Ferrets outta the water didn't at least block their chi points, but the resultin' fight scene more than made up for it. I guess the Pro-Bending judges must only take very high bribes, 'cause this is the first match where it's been suggested that they've been bought off, and one would think that they'd get the most flack over it in the championship rounds, 'specially when even the radio announcer calls it! And when the chief of police, the Avatar, and city council are watchin'?! Seems to me like councilman Tarrlok wants escalate the conflict. The Korra fangirl in the audience was cute! Also...Tenzin said criminy!

I just got around to watching this and I loved the flashbacks of Aang and Toph. I wish I understood them, but I'm sure we'll know soon enough.
