RE: Movie trailers
Monsters University: Trailer 2
Much better than the first trailer. This one indicates a much larger cast and much larger perspective of the Monsters universe at large, rather than just being confined to a few sets in the dorm and classroom. Much more detailed and encompassing, and it makes it look like Pixar really did pull out all the stops on this movie, rather than just a cheap, feel-good "prequel" that rides of the success of the earlier movie. Also, much more exploration of the aspects in Mike and Sully's relationship, rather than just the playful, college-aged pranking we saw in the first trailer. This one indicates the animosity that they initially had for each other, the aspects behind it, and how they worked to overcome it. I'm looking much more forward to this than I was with the first trailer. |

SEQUELS
AND SPINOFFS I really like the concept behind Despicable Me 2. Though, as much as I love Gru, I hope the girls are more than just background characters for this. The trailer for Planes reminds me of an old 2D animated short that came out decades ago where a little prop plane goes against the newer jet planes: |

Ender's Game:
Was never a big fan of the series, but we'll see where this goes. Based on just the short, it seems to be pretty faithful to the books though. |

RE: Movie trailers
New Lone Ranger Trailer:
Yep, definitely not takin' much theme from the original. And here's Neil Blomkamp's (director of District 9) latest project: New trailer for World War Z: And for those who have been stuck in a cave for the past year...on Mars...with their fingers in their ears...there's a new Superman reincarnation; now with expanded trailer: Seems that the "origin story" for this movie is different than traditionally, and war is cause of Krypton's destruction, rather than the "Brain", or natural phenomenon. Very emotional trailer, 'specially liked the scene between father and "son". |

RE: Movie trailers
Pacific Rim
Colors pretty... but seriously I'm getting more and more into this movie with each new trailer. Riddick I'm surprised they made a third one but looks to be a blend of both of the previous movies - inhospitable planet with hungry indigenous creatures and bounty hunters. |

RE: Movie trailers
A refreshing take on an old theme:
I think this will actually be Jeff Bridge's best movie EVER! |
