Struggling against the petulant old guard, maneuvering in the wake of the ignorant and self-possessed, yearning for freedom... 'Padak' is a new Korean feature animation, allegorical in its narrative about a mackerel struggling to avoid the endgame of living in a fish tank outside of a sashimi restaurant. Director Lee Dae-hee weaves together a CG film about the dangers of complacency and the eventuality of death, all behind the tail of a fish named "Flappy."
