'Birdman' Returns to Lay Down the Law

Late night's only show starring a winged attorney returns with a new season of antics and objections on Sunday, April 18. Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law will air Sunday evenings at 11:30 p.m. (ET, PT) on Adult Swim, Cartoon Network's late night block of animation for grown-ups.

The new season will include nine new episodes. Among the guest stars turning to Harvey for legal counsel in up-coming shows are Speed Buggy, The Jetsons, Grape Ape, and the father/son combo of Doggie Daddy and Augie Doggie.

Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law follows the trials and errors of Harvey Birdman, a B-list superhero turned lawyer who represents cartoon characters in legal limbo. Harvey has represented clients such as Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Dr. Benton Quest, Fred Flintstone and Secret Squirrel. Lucky for them, Harvey has vast expertise in fields like copyright law, criminal defense and civil litigation. Or at least he can fake it.

Harvey works under the careful watch of paranoid, eye-patched managing partner Phil Ken Sebben at the prestigious firm Sebben & Sebben. Assisting him are Avenger, his faithful winged companion from the superhero days, and Peanut, his scheming and devious legal secretary.

Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law was created by Michael Ouweleeen and Erik Richter, based on characters created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. It debuted on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim in September 2001.
