According to a recent announcement, TELETOON Canada is still on board for Nerd Corp.'s upcoming animated comedy Endangered Species, in addition to taking a bite out of Cookie Jar Entertainment's new animated series Dr. Dimensionpants. The latter of these two, Dr. Dimensionpants, kicks into gear the superheroism of a ten-year-old boy who stumbles across a pair of "cosmic power pants." Super pants, a super attitude, and a super unicorn (or maybe just a regular unicorn), turns Kyle Lipton into Dr. Dimensionpants, defender of all things good. Both titles are scheduled to debut on the network in the second half of 2014.
Additional highlights include another season for Detentionaire and plans for a staggering sixth season of Johnny Test. TELETOON Canada reports having invested north of $265 million in original animated and children's TV series production since 1997.
