Cartoon Network On-Air Promotion: Nathania Seales

Seales Up at CN On-Air

In a continuance of its bid to further evolve its on-air presence among children's entertainment networks as the go-to place for fun, relevant action and comedy programming, Cartoon Network has promoted one of their key directors of on-air program direction. Nathania Seales, whom has been with Cartoon Network for roughly five years, has been upped to the position of Vice President of Production, within the On-Air division. The division, which serves as the impetus for on-air marketing initiatives and opportunities, will certainly remain a key factor in the network's anticipated expansion in the coming year.

With the kid's network having refocused its resources within the past calendar year to include a more contemporary mix of live-action programming with their animated original series' it has become necessary to similarly incorporate this image of change and revitalization onto the network's on-air assignments. Seales, formerly the senior director of production, for on-air, will now have responsibilities more directly related with the production of on-air promotions and ad-supported/sponsored promotions for Cartoon Network and Boomerang.

Having worked as a production supervisor at Sony Pictures Entertainment and Universal Cartoon Studios in the late 90s, and as a series and visual design supervisor more recently at W!LDBRAIN and SpiralWest, Inc., Seales brings her experience in branding materials management to Cartoon Network's upper tier of On-Air.

As the Vice President of Production, On-Air, Nathania Seales will additionally be responsible for managing and assigning projects and budgets to various associate organizations, which include any assortment of producers, writers, and any on-air talent the network may use. She is based in Atlanta and reports directly to Michael Ouweleen, SVP and Creative Director, On-Air.

The recent success of Cartoon Network's relatively long-awaited shift toward themed programming blocks will surely offer Seales some momentum, moving through the fall and winter seasons. She will reportedly be working with network programming, marketing and ad-sales groups to recommend on-air responses to multiple network initiatives.
