Teen Twists Tale In Life Story

Evan Brain! Adventures of a Delusional Kid Superhero is not the kind of book you read if you take things a little too seriously. This is the story of an obnoxious child; only with his side of the story told in contrast to the more likely truth as detailed by his mother. When a gifted child considers himself the ultimate "kid superhero," what's a mother to do? Evan Brain's central story comes to its many readers as written by Eve Becker-Doyle and her son, Evan "Brain"/Brian Doyle.

One afternoon spent with the Doyle family meant having the chance to talk with very intellectual and intelligent individuals, all whom in a certain way helped in producing the content of this book: Evan's sister has a distinct sense of style that emanates from the stories surrounding Evan himself, and Evan's brother is portrayed as the guy on a mission to find his ultimate girlfriend. And believe it or not, despite the rather blunt and forthright thoughts coming from Evan in the book, his actual siblings don't mind too much the information that's being disclosed.

The stories in the book almost has a Calvin and Hobbes foundation, following a myriad of antics from a child and the mother who puts up with him. Only instead of a stuffed tiger, there are plenty of aliens and other figments of Evan Doyle's imagination roaming around with unbridled freedom.

"It's weird... I'm the only published author in my class," says Evan in the interview. Currently, he is attending the Science and Engineering Magnet High School in Dallas, Texas.

And although he's a published author, he admits that the subject of English is not his strongest. During our talk, he even admitted failing in front of his Mother, which was indeed new news to her as the interview moved forward. But fear not, his grades went back up to a "B." When the question of "why" the lack of motivation, Evan's sister rather easily exclaimed, "Evan is just lazy!"

Obviously, as the discussion about the life and times of the Doyle family went on, it was obvious that many of the elements in the imaginative book started to really come out -- that is if you scratch out the aliens, evil teachers, and the weird creatures of the underworld!

"Everything that the school doesn't focus on, I love," added Evan about his academic background. The young eccentric has many things to say about his current life and living situation -- from his forced separation of brain cell damaging "X-boxing" devices for one reason or another, to his teachers who simply cannot regard what he writes as "art" proper.

As you read the book, Evan Brain!, it is important to remember that you are reading only a fraction of fiction! There are some stories within the book that Eve Becker-Doyle explains, and imagination turns into incriminating evidence that shows Evan being on the lighting end of the dynamite of truth.

Now 16-years-old, Evan doesn't get into those types of troubles anymore -- now life is more about "Academic Pressure!" No to worry though, Evan does plan to contribute more to society.

From the words of Evan's older brother, "What will you contribute to the collective persona!"
