Kids' WB! Fall 2007 Programming Schedule
August 29th, 2007 6:04 PM by Aaron H. Bynum

The Schedule

With summer programming winding down, the time is near for the inevitable freshness and revitalization of network programming blocks whose best interest is to breath life back into its audience, season after season. In the fall, the Saturday morning block of television animation has once again become the focus of animation-progressive networks, both broadcast and cable. And as the newly released Kids' WB! line-up makes its rounds, the TV Television Network children's block looks to be a step ahead of re-branded of familiars from CBS (KEWLopolis) and Cartoon Network (Fried Dynamite) [recent A.I. news: "CBS & DiC Establish KEWLopolis"]. With other networks with either demographically-lopsided, underdeveloped or altogether outdated schedules, the Kids' WB! programming block continues to press forward into the fall season armed with a clean variety of great new animation to debut, and ready to return with new episodes of audience favorites.

from Eon Kid
Officially beginning the 2007 fall season schedule on Saturday, September 22nd at 7:00am (ET/PT), Kids' WB! will be premiering four new animated television programs, each with its own array of action, comedy and magic that will intrigue key demographics. Inclusive of the newly acquired programs on Kids' WB! are the flash-animated action-comedy series Skunk Fu!, the self-inserted fantasy series Magi-Nation, the computer animation action and adventure saga Eon Kid, and the preschool self-discovery program Will & Dewitt as produced by Cookie Jar Entertainment.

These four programs will resultantly be making their America-network debuts, while both Magi-Nation and Will & Dewitt are documented as Educational/Informational animated television programs. Easily the programming block of fall Saturday mornings with the most diversity and focus, Kids' WB! is working hard to stay on top of the latest interests in children's television animation.

Naturally, returning animated television programming for Kids' WB! is just as exciting as the new acquisitions. The interstellar saga Legion of Superheroes from Warner Bros. Animation begins its second season of 31st Century battle and stratagem, and the wily adventures of Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get A Clue! returns, among many others, with all-new episodes. In fact, every television animation on Kids' WB! will be showing something new either through a series' debut or through newly produced episodes come the September 22nd onslaught of children's programming. Additionally, it should be noted, Kids' WB! will welcome two new series' in early 2008--the highly anticipated The Spectacular Spider-Man, an all-new animated series from Culver Entertainment; and World of Quest, an action-comedy based on the Komikwerks graphic novel series by Jason Kruse, and produced by Cookie Jar Entertainment.

The Saturday morning line-up for fall 2007 Kids' WB! programming is revealed in the schedule below, with character descriptions and program synopses on the following pages of this AnimationInsider.net news article. Please note that the schedule is listed for the (ET/PT) time region; please adjust accordingly for local broadcast. Kids' WB! Senior Vice President and General Manager Betsy McGowen commented: "From action and adventure to comedy and self-discovery, and animation styles running the gamut from traditional 2D to computer-generated and flash-anime, the new Kids' WB! lineup truly offers entertainment for everyone."
