Going Interactive

Once Again, Cartoon Network is reaching out to gamers everywhere, especially to those who are fans of the ever popular original series, Ben 10, and of course those crazy Ed's, and the crew from the imaginative, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Also, scheduled for a summer 2008 release, Cartoon Network's first massively multi-player online game, Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall will be previewed at San Diego Comic-Con International. Cartoon Network anticipates a large reception of interactive gaming titles based on its many original properties, gaming titles that the network intends to push rather aggressively as the months advance. Gamers can expect these following titles to come out this Fall:

Ben 10: Protector of Earth: In the first game based on the series Ben 10, players will take on the role of Cartoon Network’s popular everyday-kid-turned-alien-superhero, Ben Tennyson. With the help of the Omnitrix, an alien device that attached itself to Ben’s wrist, gamers will play as Ben and five of his most popular alien forms. Ben suddenly finds that most of his alien powers have been stolen! Just as an inter-dimensional crisis threatens to swallow the Earth into limitless darkness!

As Ben sets out to recapture his amazing powers using the ones he still has at his disposal, he encounters armies of otherworldly minions and uncovers a plot to suck the Earth into the null void. Players work to save the world through the game’s diverse challenges, puzzles and skirmishes. Ben 10: Protector of Earth is anticipated for release this fall for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system and PSP (PlayStation Portable) system. D3Publisher of America, Inc., a leading publisher and developer of interactive entertainment software, has been awarded the gaming rights to the hit action-adventure series Ben 10.

Ed, Edd n Eddy: Scam of the Century: Published by D3PA for release in fall 2007, Ed, Edd n Eddy: Scam of the Century features an original storyline developed around Eddy losing his precious “Book O’ Scams” book. Players take control of the Eds and must make their way through tricks, traps, angry kids and a barrage of ammunition including soap and broccoli. Ed, Edd and Eddy finally make their way back to the cul-de-sac only to find the ultimate obstacle before them: Rolf has built a giant fort to keep the Eds out forever! Each Ed must use his own special talent to smash, brainstorm or scam his way inside. Once inside the fort, the Eds regroup to reclaim Eddy’s scam book. But standing in their way is none other than The Masked Melonhead Avenger and Splinter -- The Wonderwood.

Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends: Imagination Invaders: From Midway, experience the fun of Cartoon Network’s hit show in Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends: Imagination Invaders, playing as head mischief-maker Blooregard Q. Kazoo (“Bloo”). Goo has done it again. Her overactive imagination has conjured up a group of diabolical cosmic invaders, the Space Nut Boogies, and they have taken Madame Foster hostage in search of The Greatest Thing in the Universe. Play as Bloo as you explore the Foster’s house, sneak past the Space Nut Boogie guards, and gather Mac, Coco, Eduardo and the rest of the gang to rescue Madame Foster! The game is scheduled for release in fall of 2007.

ADULT SWIM Interactive Games:
Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Zombie Ninja Pro-Am: Midway, a leading interactive entertainment industry publisher and developer, will be developing an interactive title based on the hit comedy series from Adult Swim -- Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Zombie Ninja Pro-Am is scheduled to be available for the PlayStation2 computer entertainment system this fall. Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Zombie Ninja Pro-Am is an epic, action-adventure combat golf, cart racing game that gives fans an opportunity to experience the Aqua Teen universe in a whole new way. Jealousy smolders inside Master Shake like chocolate in a fondue pot. Frylock has been admitted into Jersey Pines, South Jersey’s most prestigious and exclusive public golf course. And Shake was rejected. Actually, he didn’t apply. He doesn’t know how to play golf. But what does that matter? Now he must defeat Frylock at his own game. With Meatwad as his caddy, Shake aims to split some skulls and sink some putts.

Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law: Produced by Capcom Entertainment, Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law is a self-contained story, incorporating the characters, settings, and most importantly, the off-beat humor that Harvey Birdman fans have come to expect. Over the course of the game, players must guide Harvey through a series of odd and comical cases.

In order to prove his client’s innocence, Harvey must explore the scene of the crime, gather evidence, talk with other cartoon characters, occasionally have drinks with opposing council, and of course, tear holes -- no matter how ridiculous -- in the testimony provided by the witnesses for the prosecution. Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law is scheduled for release on PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system and PSP (PlayStation Portable) system in fall 2007.
