Good Wilt Hunting

This November Cartoon Network is all about thanking the community for their efforts in servicing those in need as well as all about helping those still with hope in their hearts. Most of these plans of which involve the network's most unique and popular original animated television program in recent years, Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends. The world television premiere of "Good Wilt Hunting" in particular, announced earlier this year [related A.I. news: "CN Announces 2nd Half 2006"], will be hitting the airwaves this month; while additionally, Cartoon Network will be working hard to give its most devoted animation enthusiasts television marathons and community service efforts.

Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends, which focuses on grade schooler Mac and his best friend (and imaginary friend) Bloo, has continued to grow in popularity over the past couple of years since its debut.

Although one of the few programs in recent television animation history to have been subjected to the almost absurdly expeditious production schedule TV animations have found themselves under the knife of as of late, Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends still thrives.

The animated program has an exquisite visual look and feel about it that oozes creativity and possesses a production staff (voice-over artists included) that continues to expand what it is the viewer considers rich entertainment. One of Cartoon Network's top-rated original programs, Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends is now in its fourth season and has also been greenlit for a fifth season.

From Cartoon Network Studios, the first film based off of this eclectically imagined animated program, "Good Wilt Hunting," will help animation fans celebrate Thanksgiving 2006 as the premiere movie will explore how each character responds to meeting his or her original child-creator, and send the entire "Fosters" gang on a nationwide hunt to find good-natured Wilt's secret owner. The premiere of "Good Wilt Hunting" and a hearty 12-hour marathon of "Fosters" episodes, will take center stage on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 23rd 2006. The movie itself will air after the marathon, at 7:00pm (ET).

At the Foster's picnic celebration, creators of their imaginary friends come to visit their old pals. The little girl who created Eduardo has now grown up, the two scientists who studied Coco come back to investigate, but Wilt's creator never arrives. But after once again having no visitor at the Foster's Creator Reunion Picnic, a lonely Wilt sets out across the country in hopes of reuniting with his long lost creator, in "Good Wilt Hunting." Uncertain as to why Wilt left, Bloo and the Foster's gang set out on a road trip to find him. Hindered by Bloo's far-out theories and Wilt's overly good nature, the chase takes many unexpected twists and turns and all the while we come to learn about Wilt's mysterious past.

To celebrate the premiere of "Good Wilt Hunting" and honor National Adoption month, Cartoon Network is ensuring that this will truly be a "Fosters"-centered month. In related Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends news, there will be brand new episodes premiering on Friday evenings in the month of November (at 7:00pm on FRIDAYS), leading up to the premiere of the Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends movie. The new episodes are full of adventure and shenanigans when Bloo decides to open his own home for imaginary friends, while Mac must save the house from a conning new imaginary friend and Goo can't stop creating bad guy characters from a game of make-believe.
